Dish Network Reviews

Remember that telephone game? You whisper something in a friend's ear and they pass it along. And after a few turns the original message gets lost in translation...literally. Well, that's the very reason we created this page -- so you can read and share Dish Network Reviews without someone tuggin' at your pant legs :).

All the reviews below are unadulterated and published as they're received. If you're a current, former or prospective DISH customer (i.e, have any experience with the folks at DISH), please take a minute and submit a quick review. Pay it forward!

I have been a dish customer for at least 5 years, was happy till I had to deal with customer service, when a technician came out to replace the pole my dish was mounted to(broke off) they decided to mount the signal splitters on my vinyl siding and fasten it with 10 screws drilled and mounted to my siding,it is unsightly and ugly because i now have this black octopuss on my white siding, they said it was there code for mounting it and it was too bad if i didnt like it,denied my claim for damaging it now saying i authorized it by signing work order, looks like direct tv is going to get a new customer.

Painless, easy process
After being with Time warner for 6 years, I decided to move to satellite TV for a few reasons but the most important was cost. Our entertainment budget is TIGHT, so after reviewing each service I went for the entry-level Dish network package ($19.99) and got it locked in for 1 year. Install was easy, happy camper so far.

Can't beat the price
I was looking for the lowest price out there that had local channels plus basic cable. After doing my research, I found dish to be the cheapest by almost $10 bucks. I had to sign up for a one year contract but didn't mind since I don't plan on moving anytime soon.

Installation took a while but good times after..
I moved into a new apartment last fall and signed up for Dish. My building wasn't DIRECT TV compatible (sightline issues I guess). I was told the installer would get to my place by 2 PM and by the time 3 rolled along I was getting impatient. He showed up at 3:30 (did apologize) and got me hooked up in 30 min. I've been very happy since but I don't like missed appointment times! :-[];-)
